The Help Desk Specialist at Sharpvue is responsible for providing exceptional technical support to customers and internal teams while efficiently managing the company’s support operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring our surveillance solutions are configured and running optimally to meet customer needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Respond to and resolve support tickets promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Assist the engineering team in remotely configuring and troubleshooting surveillance sites.
Provide technical guidance to customers and field teams on the use of Sharpvue’s mobile AI surveillance trailers.
Document and maintain detailed records of support requests, resolutions, and system configurations.
Collaborate with internal departments to address customer issues and enhance service delivery.
Conduct remote diagnostics to identify and resolve system issues.
Ensure the security and confidentiality of customer data and surveillance footage.
Communicate technical solutions to non-technical customers effectively.
Monitor system alerts and proactively address potential issues before they escalate.
Stay updated on company products, services, and industry trends to provide knowledgeable support.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Basic understanding of network configurations, remote access tools, and troubleshooting procedures.
Proficiency with Windows operating systems and basic office software (spreadsheets and word processing).
Ability to remain composed under high-pressure situations.
Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends, if necessary.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior experience in technical support, IT help desk, or a related field.
Familiarity with surveillance systems, mobile AI technology, or IoT devices.
Knowledge of Sharpvue’s products and services.
Technical certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar.
